I'm amazed at how many on this thread have shifted what the question asked to something bad about the wtbts again! Sheesh! Focus on the question now, not what you want to answer.

Do you get "tired" of "Apostates/ex-jws" bashing the WT to you?
by booker-t ini know it is good to let out pent up anger for healing purposes, but do you ever get tired of some "apostates or ex-jws" constantly bashing the wt?
for instance when you or having lunch and all they do is say "the evil wt this the evil wt that" during the whole time you are at lunch?
sometimes i just don't feel like hearing it especially when i am at an event for fun.

"Mature" JW's READ THIS:
by Honesty in"mature" jw's, what do you "believe" you are accomplishing by coming on this board?.
page 371 paragraph 22 of the june 15, 1967 watchtower magazine says, "in addition to all of this, a persons faith can be weakened by what he reads and takes into his mind, dwelling upon "higher criticism," relying on worldly philosophers.
it should be remembered that, when we are reading a book, the author of the book becomes ones teacher, and for this reason great care should be taken in selecting reading matter.

Beroean, you must be picking out the negative posts. There are just as many positive posts on this board, and this board is merely small sampling of ex jw's. I rarely talk negative about jw's, and when I do it's in response to things said that I don't deem accurate. I'm not hurt or bitter about the religion, disillusioned and disappointed are much more accurate words. Think of how a kid feels when he finds out that Santa Claus is a made up story. The feeling is similar. That doesn’t mean, though, that I’m unhappy. In fact, I only drop by this board every few months.

I would like to see some logical and thinking posts regarding Bush and the war, instead of all the emotive garbage lacking any substance.

Have you ever had a really bad haircut? (rant)
by restrangled inwent to a salon today with picture in hand.
i spent 2/1/2 hours suffering in the chair, (foiling and cut).
i wound up with about 6 to 7 inches lopped off and came out looking like a big haired, bubble headed 80's special.

Have you ever noticed that some people never get a "good" haircut, while others never get a "bad" one? I'm not making accusations, but consider this. Perhaps it has something to do with our self-perception and expectations, and how we convey those to the hair stylist. I remember my dad going into barbers and they'd ask him what he wanted. He said, "I want you to make me look 20 pounds lighter and 30 years younger." He joked, but I get the feeling that some people really want that.

Do The Clothes Really Make The Man?

during the days of my being a jehovahs witness heavy emphasis was placed on clothing, .
grooming and in general, being clean cut.. how do you view personal grooming?some years ago, a brother approached the elders wanting to divorce his wife because she either .

Stretched earlobes mean one of two things to me. Either the person is not playing with a full deck of cards, or the person is from a different culture. I'd give this assertion about a 95% accuracy rating.

The great majority of them are never happy afterward. They carry this feeling of rejection and anger around like a scorned woman.
I thought jehovah's witnesses did not associate with those who leave. Seeing as how you don't associate with them, how do you know what "the great majority" feel? I am one of them, and I can tell you without reservation that I am happier and less judgmental than I ever was as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I guess I'm the minority though, right? ;-)
